The campaign is seeking a Digital Director to manage the digital wing of the campaign from the website, to campaign social media accounts, to digital ads and more in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking, quick decision making and attention to detail. The Digital Director will report to the campaign manager and work collaboratively with policy director, communications director, and executive assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth operation for all digital tools and applications (e.g. website, social media, email)
  • Design and implement campaign digital strategies
  • Develop and execute a social media calendar
  • Set specific digital objectives and monitor progress
  • Oversee all social media accounts, including posts and ads
  • Update the campaign website as needed
  • Create graphics/short videos and write the content
  • Create, post, and run ads on all social media and digital platforms
  • Generate innovative ideas to increase web traffic
  • Create teams of supporters on various social networking sites to help disseminate information about the campaign and Andrew
  • Train internal teams to use digital technologies

Qualifications

  • Former experience as a Digital Director or as a paid social media specialist
  • Former campaign experience preferred
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Basic knowledge of HTML preferred
  • Experience in Actionkit, BSD, NGP/VAN preferred
  • Experience in managing online advertising campaigns, such as Google, AdWords, and Social Media
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Analyzing Results
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Education in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field preferred
