Julián for the Future (the Campaign) is seeking dynamic, mission-driven and qualified individuals to serve as Regional Organizing Directors. Regional Organizing Directors will be responsible for managing teams of Organizers, building our volunteer base and maintaining the energy and engagement of our supporters. This position is based in Iowa and is eligible for comprehensive health, vision, dental, and life insurance. Relocation assistance is available on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying, training, and managing a team of organizers to meet voter contact goals
- Growing and developing political relationships with community leaders and local Democratic activists within your region
- Working with state leadership to implement and execute top down directives
- Implementing strategies and systems that lead you to successfully meet daily and weekly organizing metrics, as well as maintain data integrity
- Ensure volunteer communications and meetings are well-facilitated and impactful
At least one cycle of political campaign experience is required, preferably with staff management experience. Demonstrating an understanding of the political climate and issues important to Iowa is critical. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, good attention to detail, an entrepreneurial spirit, instinct for creative problem-solving and a good humored and collegial approach to working with other staff, volunteers and other stakeholders.
